Rendering Break

Well, Vreal has been unreal to this point. Jean-Marc continues to inspire me with examples of what is and can be done with Maya. I have stacked up books on technique and to this point have had trouble producing any very interesting work.

Today I was wracking my head to figure out how to render an animation in Maya, until I found the excellent Maya tutorial on: http://www.simplymaya.com/movie_pages/tutorial.mhtml?tut_id=49
The production quality of the tutorial movies were a bit amatuerish, but the content was good. It answered the question 3 of the books I bought couldn’t.

I guess it pays to be persistent, 90% perspiration/10% inspiration thing… Maya is the most counter intuitive program I have ever used, but it is getting better every day*
